Our mission is to protect women and children in Leeds from the
damage that domestic violence can inflict on their lives.
Is to protect women and children in Leeds from the damage that domestic violence can inflict on their lives. We believe that all women and children have the right to live their lives free from fear and harm. We will achieve this by providing women with choices from a range of services including temporary supported housing, outreach support, telephone support and floating support.Panic Button
The Freedom Programme and Staying Safe Programme have now started.
We will be running both programmes again throughout the year so please check back for further details or to register your interest.
Due to the popularity of the ‘Working with Families Affected by Domestic Violence’ training, Leeds Women’s Aid will be running another date for this course:
- Friday 13th March
For more information or to book a place please see our Training page.
We’ll be holding a food collection day at Morrison’s, Town Street, Horsforth from 10.00am for the women and children in our refuge.
As some families arrive at the refuge with only the clothes they are wearing we often run short of toiletry items and dry or tinned food.
If you want to donate but can’t get to Morrison’s Horsforth on the 6th then you can phone us to arrange a separate collection on: 0113 246 0401.
Come and say hello…we’ll be at Horsforth Morrison’s from 10am on 6th March!
