Strategic Capacity Development Worker 21hrs per week

£31,401 p.a. (pro-rata)

2 Year fixed term contract

An exciting new opportunity to be part of the Women’s Lives Leeds (WLL) Partnership. The post holder will be working at strategic level facilitating the development of the WLL partnership by providing leadership, support and strengthening the collective voice to strengthen future sustainability and improve the outcomes of women and girls

This post will be employed by Together Women, but will be delivering support as part of the Women’s Lives Leeds Big Lottery Funded Project, who will work closely together as a team to deliver lasting change.

Relief/bank staff

Rate of pay £9.31 per hour

Leeds Women’s Aid supports women and children in refuges and the community within the Leeds area.

We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced female workers to cover shifts in the following services:


Our refuge and telephone helpline are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and drop-ins can include evenings.

The successful candidates will have:

  • A good understanding of the complex support needs of survivors of domestic violence
  • Experience of working with survivors of domestic violence
  • An understanding of the barriers faced by black and ethnic minority women, disabled women and lesbian, bi-sexual or transgender women experiencing domestic violence.

Induction and some training will be provided.
