We regularly run two full-day, multi-agency training courses which are also available as in-house courses: Working with Families Affected by Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage Awareness & Good Practice. Both courses are facilitated by trainers with a combined 20+ years’ front-line experience of supporting survivors.
The courses are appropriate for professionals, volunteers and managers working with adults and/or children affected by domestic abuse or forced marriage, including in social work, education, health, criminal justice, children’s centres, and voluntary sector organisations. The cost is: £75 (voluntary sector); £85 (statutory sector); £120 (private sector), and refreshments are provided.

Some feedback from previous courses: “Brilliant course with facilitators with a wealth of knowledge and experience.” “Fantastic course, informative, thought-provoking, makes you think outside the box. Content handled/delivered professionally and sensitively.” “A very hard subject to train however the two trainers were great in delivering the course and the pace was excellent. Keep up the good work.” “Mixture of facilitation techniques kept me engaged. Lots of tools for us to utilise in our work rather than just increasing knowledge.” “Very good day, did not feel like training, was very relaxed and enjoyed it, thank you.”
